Redhat 5.0 CD

Linux cd ที่ใช้ในโครงการ Linux installation project นี้ คือ cheapbyte REDHAT 5.0 ซึ่งผลิตโดย บริษัท Cheapbytes ซึ่งมี รายละเอียดดังนี้

• Linux Kernels 2.0.32
• มี script สำหรับช่วยในการสร้างแผ่น Boot Linux
• มี โปรแกรม Netscape Communication และ Netscape Navigator  version 4.04
• มีไฟล์อื่นๆ ดังแสดงในรายการนี้ บนแผ่น CD 1 แผ่น

The "Official" Red Hat 5.0 release contains commercial products such as
the Metro-X server. It is also a 2 CD-ROM set which contains the live file system.

The primary differences between Cheapbyte and the "Official" Release of Red Hat are the following:

1) Official Release contains Metro-X Server
2) Official Release contains Bru Backup
3) Official Release Contains Real Audio
4) Official Release contains manual
